Love this place! The food is great, we usually come in for a couple of slices and salad. My husband says it's as close to NY as he can find, which is a huge compliment! Don't forget the garlic knots! Delish!! The service is always good, and everyone is friendly. The place is small and finding parking can be an issue, but this place is worth it!
I wish I had taken a picture, but we ate it so fast. loll Had it delivered to our home and it got here earlier than expected. It has to be the best pizza we've ever had. And they are very particular if you have special requests. Fabulous crunchy crust, New York pizza with pepperoni, green pepper, and black olives, cheese, light sauce. To live for! All quality ingredients No other pizza will ever do. In fact, our neighbors came over and ate the rest of what we had left over. Amazing give it a try.
First time eating here, but definitely not the last. We came to beach from inland empire and just happen to stumble across this place and boy are we happy we did. We had the best BBQ pizza I've ever had and don't even get me started on the wings. The wings were crispy and sauced to perfection, we had the sweet chili, bbq, and buffalo. The pizza is your traditional NY style but they use a deck oven so if you know you know. For those who don't deck ovens are the ones that give the pizza a delicious crunch on the dough. The staff was awesome and the shop was really clean even with so many people being there. We are definitely stopping by again anytime we're in the area, heck we may make the 1.5 hour drive just when we have pizza and wing craving. It's that good!!
First time here. I've been seeing this place in Instagram for like a year. It's an hour away from me. Laziness has kept me away. Decided today was the day to try. It did not disappoint. I got 2 slices and a fountain drink. Tax and tip was almost $18.00. The slices are huge. And they were delicious. Worth the price and the drive. They are a little crunchier than I prefer. I like floppy chewy greasy slices. These are crunchy cheesy greasy slices. Just as tasty. I add parmesan to soak up some of that grease. And a little red pepper flake. Mmm.
Well, you made the right choice, If you're buying pizza from here. We took a whole extra large pizza to Newport Beach. The pizza place has a great atmosphere. Seems to be authentic, I don't know if that's true or Not but I do know that this is a very delicious pizza! Service was done with the guy that seems legit, from the Bronx.
Literally the one thing I do look forward to when I'm out in NewPort. Joeys is a must try for any pizza lover. The staff is amazing and so hospitable.
I never truly realized what NY Pizza should taste like until I came here. The crust is thin and crispy yet with some depth. I highly recommend if you are in the area to stop by and try this place. They sell by the slice!!!
